SOLD - 1971 Rupp Roadster/2. Newly chromed 28 spoke wheels. these are the correct 28 spoke wheels for 1971. The rims where professionals chromed. It cost $250 per rim to chrome. They did an excellent job. The hubs are the the stock 28 spoke. The spokes are stainless steel from Black Widow Motor Sports. The engine was rebuilt and runs strong. It easily goes up to 30-35 mph. I have bought a the correct original Italian CEV switch for lights and shut off. Wiring is stock and in good shape. High Beam and Low Beam work fine. New seat cover, LED tail light, foot and hand grips, black widow exhaust pipe, throttle and brake cables from BWMS. it sounds like a little Harley. tires are stock and still good . Here is what I really like about this bike; the inside of the gas tank is perfect. no dents. Very good original tank. super clean on the inside. This minibike is very mechanically strong and just needs some TLC to some of the chrome parts. If you were to paint this mini bike and use some elbow grease you could have a perfect bike. The rims are already there. I have several projects going and am willing to let this go to the right owner. Also I have the original serial number tag that is under the seat for this. That tag shows it is a 1971 Rupp Roadster 2. starts easy and is fun to ride. I have a Rupp luggage rack for this if you want that too!
